Reminding of completion of log export before the Log Export Ban becomes effective

1. The Log Export Ban (LEB)is drawing on and therefore log exporter companies are reminded to complete the shipment of teak and hardwood logs, handsawn timber , Baulk square and Boule-cut logs before midnight (24:00 hours)31^st March 2014. The log shipment is totally banned after that period.
2. It has been informed to the associate departments that all cargo boats performing midstream loading  and all the timber trucks loading at the wharves  have to leave the vessels exactly at midnight 31^st March 2014.
3. Therefore it is reminded to pay attention to LEB deadline and unshipped logs are to be carried to respective depots or sawmills under companies arrangement.
